Google’s Pixel 7 Ultra which is codenamed Lynx was first reported two months ago. But there have been no substantial details since then. Fortunately, a new rumor coming from Weibo and published by Digital Chat Station has just revealed new information about the smartphone.
- New Pixel 7 Ultra details have emerged
- The Pixel 7 Ultra is said to have a 50MP main camera paired with a 64MP telephoto lens
- It is not yet known if the Pixel 7 Ultra will really be released
The source suggests that Foxconn produces two smartphones unknown to Google. One of them would be the alleged Pixel 7 Ultra while the other would be Google’s first foldable smartphone. As for the Ultra model, it is said that it will be equipped with a 2K perforated screen and a ceramic casing as well as the SoC Tensor 2 which would also equip the Pixel 7 and the Pixel 7 Pro.

Conversely, the current Pixel 6 Pro uses a 50MP primary camera, but it’s limited to a single focal length. The other sensor mentioned is a Sony IMX787 (64MP) which could serve as a secondary telephoto lens as the leaker speculates. Kuba Wojciechowski.
For now, it is still unknown if the Pixel 7 Ultra will be released. It could eventually end up as a prototype unit that will be used for testing and reference for a future device. In addition, the long-talked-about Pixel Fold was also mentioned. But details are scarce regarding Google’s first foldable smartphone.
