Reinforcement in the mobility sector
Present worldwide and employing some 800 people, Netcetera is already active in the field of transport digitization, notably with mobile ticketing and traveler information solutions. The Zurich-based development firm will take advantage of Routerank’s technologies to expand its offer in the mobility sector. “Thanks to door-to-door multimodal planning, the provision of travel information and ticketing, we can cover the entire travel cycle. The flexibility, speed and precision of the routeRANK platform allow us both to develop our offer available at stops, and to offer professional customers different mobility solutions according to their operational needs, such as minimizing emissions of CO2,” says Oliver Aeschlimann, head of Netcetera’s Product & Market Strategy Digital Enterprise team.
Installation in French-speaking Switzerland
Netcetera also integrates the know-how of the ten Routerank employees and will thus have a first establishment in French-speaking Switzerland. “We are happy to have the whole team join us. We very much appreciate this trust in us, says Gabriele Brechbühl, Managing Director Digital Enterprise at Netcetera. This new site in Lausanne also allows us to be close to the IT talents of French-speaking Switzerland. We are happy to become an employer in French-speaking Switzerland and to be able to offer a good workplace there”.
